SHINE BRIGHTLY IS MY 12-WEEK BESPOKE, HOLISTIC WELL-BEING PROGRAMME, DESIGNED FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 8-14 YEARS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Available in person in west London and online worldwide.

This programme supports your child to do exactly that, to feel happier and more confident to be themselves. In addition, I support you to continue this work throughout the programme and beyond.

Over the 12 weeks, I work primarily with your child, who might face challenges in processing and expressing ‘big feelings’ or finding expectations and relationships at home or school challenging.

For best results, this programme requires a level of input and commitment from supporting adults.

Does Your Child?

Get frustrated with themselves when things go wrong or they make mistakes

Feel anxious or worried about friendships or learning
Struggle to express ‘big feelings’ in ways that keep everyone safe
Find it difficult to communicate their ideas, feelings and desires
Have low confidence which shows up as withdrawal from activities they enjoy, negative self-talk, expressions of ‘big feelings’ which have negative impact on relationships and learning

What would it look like if your child:

Could be kind and compassionate to themselves when things don’t go to plan
Had a toolbox of resources to relieve anxiety and worries, especially when they face challenges
Was able to express their ideas, feelings and desires articulately, set boundaries and respond to the boundaries of others respectfully
Knew what was important to them, were excited to pursue the things that interested them and engage fully in learning opportunities
Could be reflective and have a good understanding of their own potential for impact in the world

What to expect:

Over the course of the programme, I email you weekly updates, often with videos of activities attached, and ask you to support our work together by practicing these exercises with your child or ensuring they have access to explore them independently.

I believe that well-being is a whole family commitment, and throughout the programme we stay in close contact. You can contact me via email or WhatsApp, and we will usually arrange up to 3 catch-up calls to discuss progress and next steps during the time we work together.

In addition, you also get FREE access to the SHINE Brightly Well-Being Library, starting the moment you sign up and throughout the time we work together! The library is where every member of the family can explore and nurture their own well-being.

While content is primarily aimed at children and young people, it’s also suitable for adults.Many parents have been taking full advantage of the content and letting me know about the positive impact it has on them.

Families who engage with the programme and library content consistently have seen huge shifts in their well-being. The ripple effect is being felt throughout their family, and is evident in the way they interact with the world. Anxiety levels drop and confidence is boosted!

Explore

During ‘Explore’ we get to know each other and begin to build a trusting relationship. It’s paramount to our work together, enabling us to create a solid foundation from which to flourish. In addition, the knowledge I gain about your child informs my planning for future sessions so that I can truly support them to SHINE Brightly.

Enrich

In the ‘Enrich’ phase I share a range of strategies to support well-being. This can include mindful movement, meditation, breathing and energy-balancing activities, alongside mindset practices. The practices shared will completely depend on the challenges your family are facing and which practices they connect with and feel the most benefit from.

Expand

When we reach the ‘Expand’ phase we ensure that the strategies that work best for your child and family are really becoming embedded for independent use. We reflect on our journey together and we plan for the future.
